Dura hoping for the next Industrial Revolution with new website

The launch of a new website is nothing new these days but Brackley based Dura Ltd is hoping to shake things up again a bit with the launch of its new site. The company, which celebrates its 20th year invented The Fitted Garage back in 1997 and set about transforming the interiors of garages and workshops with its unique modular furniture system.

Workshops housing a disparate and cluttered array of oily toolboxes, wheelie bins and benches were soon to be turned into state-of-the-art, efficient workspaces (think of a cross between a formula 1 garage and an operating theatre!). The company was so successful it became the standard for many of the premium automotive brands including Aston Martin, Audi and Jaguar Land Rover around the world, whilst Dura picked up the prestigious International Red Dot Design Award and the Queen’s Award for Enterprise on the way.

Now the company also wants to transform the way we think about workplace furniture in the industrial, commercial and educational sectors and has launched a new division with its own unique website.

"We certainly have caused a revolution in the automotive aftermarket and now we would like to bring some of our experience and expertise to this sector" said Sara Fisher, Sales Manager for the new division. "There's lots of furniture available in the industrial storage market, but there is clearly an interest from a lot of companies who want state-of-the-art workshop and design led but robust furniture in their particular industry niche".
